Weee Spring-Clean Off

“WEEE Spring-clean off” was organized in Erenköy Çevre College from 2 - 4 May 2018. The main purpose of the organization was to increase sustainable environmental awareness and encourage WEEE storage separate from other waste. 

Zero Waste Projects

Zero waste is a concept of waste management policy based on the effective usage of natural resources, preventing or minimizing waste, collecting waste at source and recycling them in case of occurrence of waste.

Turcas-Education About WEEE And Recycle

On 7 June 2018, employees of TURCAS Petrol the meeting arranged by TURCAS in collaboration of TUBISAD TYK for WEEE awareness purposes. Moreover, brochures and information about TYK activities, WEEE and recycle were given in the meeting.

Tubisad’s E-Waste Time Tunnel Exhibition (8-12 Feb)

TUBISAD’s “E-waste time tunnel” was held by Maltepe municipality from 8 – 11 of February. In the exhibition, there were 11 categories including tv, calculators, cameras, phones, computers and home appliances. Furthermore, there were painting activities for children. Various schools, municipal employees and citizens participated in the exhibition.

“You are my environment” Saminars

Çevrem Sensin, which translates into You are my Environment project, was held in several places to raise environmental awareness and adopt sustainable living of standards.

Training guide on E-waste

 In 2016, “TUBISAD Training guide on E-waste” was prepared by Sustainable Development and Cleaner Production Center (SDCPC) of Bogazici University and TUBİSAD to reach students efficiently. 

Maltepe Municipality

On 23 March 2018, “Train the trainers meeting” was held by the municipality of Maltepe. TUBISAD WEEE Compliance scheme made “Information About WEEE” presentation to increase awareness regarding recycling WEEE.
